Mount Seymour Resort has unveiled a proposal to evolve from a local ski hill into a “premier mountain resort destination in Metro Vancouver”. The plan would more than triple skiable terrain, add year-around attractions (e.g. Via Ferrata, skywalk & suspension bridge, zip lines, gondola & more) and overnight accomodation. This development would expand the resort’s Controlled Recreation Area and have a significant impact on hikers, snowshoers and backcountry skiers in the area. BC Parks is inviting public input until 4 pm on June 26th, 2026.
