While the majority of our work is carried out by volunteers across the province, we do utilize paid staff to help with administrative and communications duties, plus we sometimes hire contractors for specific projects.

Bookkeeper

The FMCBC is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage financial records, track expenses, and support financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain accurate financial records and reconcile accounts
  • Process invoices, payments, and payroll
  • Assist with budget tracking and financial reporting
  • Ensure compliance with non-profit financial best practices

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in bookkeeping or accounting (non-profit experience is an asset)
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Enjoys working with a team

This is a flexible role supporting BC’s outdoor recreation community. Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
