There are plans for three more IPP (Independent Power Producer) projects in the Upper Lillooet River valley which could affect recreational opportunities there. In particular, two projects are planned to be located in drainages which connect to backcountry cabins in North Creek and Pebble/Boulder Creek. As these projects will require access roads, there is a concern that this would expose these cabins to snowmobiles; on the other hand, the roads might improve access for backcountry skiers as happened with the Brandywine project.
