Lillooet LRMP/Winter Recreation Zoning

K’zuzalt/Twin Two Conservancy

This conservancy is located east of Pemberton, in the Twin Two drainage (Twin Two Creek drains into Lillooet Lake). The FMCBC submitted a letter with comments on the draft conservancy management plan. While most aspects of the plan are good, continued heli-skiing and heli-hiking in a wilderness area of the conservancy are inappropriate.

Garibaldi Management Plan Amendment

BC Parks is currently working on a management plan amendment for Garibaldi Provincial Park, specifically for the Spearhead/Fitzsimmons area. The proposed resort at Brohm Ridge in Squamish encompasses 25 ski lifts, two golf courses and 5,739 housing units. Esté-tiwilh/Sigurd Creek Conservancy

The Ministry of Environment (BC Parks) invited public comment on the draft.
