Volunteers hard at work on the Ancient Forest Trail, which is being upgraded this summer thanks to support from an FMCBC Member Club Grant. During the FMCBC's AGM in Castlegar on June 7th the Member Club Grant Committee presented awards to this year’s grant recipients. Congratulations to the following FMCBC Member Clubs who will be using these funds to further their trail projects this year: The Alberni Valley Outdoor Club was awarded $500 towards their Engineering for Franklin River Bridge project. The Caledonia Ramblers were awarded $1370 towards their Ancient Forest Trail [...]
At the AGM on June 8th, Bob St. John from our 2013 Grant Committee announced the FMCBC Member Club Grant awards for 2013. Thank you to all clubs who submitted applications.
In 2012 the FMCBC supported the following two club projects by awarding $2100 to each: Vancouver Island Spine Trail Association's "Construction of Tuck Lake Hiking Trail" Project BC Mountaineering Club's Sigurd Creek Bridge Project
