The Alpine Club of Canada is presenting several live-stream lectures for the winter season. These presentations are available to everyone and are led by an ACMG ski guide presenting the current best practices.

This is a livestream presentation for individuals interested in pursuing wilderness backcountry skiing. Backcountry skiing is the first step into the world of winter mountain travel. Ski to spectacular mountain locations and discover untouched powder slopes. As skills develop, it is possible to ascend to the summit of peaks and travel safely across glaciers and icefields. The basic equipment, travel skills, and managing hazards will be introduced.
